WHAT IS THE BIKE BENEFIT PROGRAM?
The Bike Benefit program is a reward system for people who regularly travel by bicycle. It is designed to provide incentives and promote cycling as a sustainable form of mobility.
The program works via the Bike Citizens app. Cyclists can use this app to track their rides and collect virtual currencies called "BikeCoins". These virtual currencies can then be redeemed at partner companies, the so-called benefit providers.

WHAT CAN BE OFFERED?
Rewards range from bike accessories to free drinks to free tickets to events or museums. Day passes to recreational facilities or services such as bicycle services are also possible rewards.
HOW ARE BIKECOINS COLLECTED?
The more often a bike ride is completed with the Bike Citizens app, the more BikeCoins the user collects.
Up to two BikeCoins can be credited to the benefit account per week. The primary goal is to cover as many trips as possible by bicycle.
Additional BikeCoins can be collected via Achievements: For example, extra BikeCoins are rewarded to those who cycle frequently or cover a lot of miles. Rides in the early morning are also rewarded. But it's not only the early bird that catches the BikeCoins, there are also extra points for night birds.
